@remixedMind

Do you have any Omada compatible Switch? Do you use the Router in standalone mode or Controller mode?

I know that we can set up MAC group when using Omada Controller, but if you want to set ACL to block/allow communication from LAN to LAN, you have to use Controller and use a Switch. Rules of Gateway ACL take effect only on the traffic which is sourced from LAN ports and forwarded to the WAN ports.

im using only the router, but mac address filtering is in the specs, not only when using the omada controller or im missing something.

IP/MAC/URL Filtering - from the tp link page

@remixedMind

I don't see any MAC address filtering related info on specs.

 But you can try to set IP-Mac binding(address reservation), and then set up IP-based ACL rules to block some device from access the internet but allow them to access LAN network only.

@Javito

You can create ACL rules like this, go to ACL>Switch ACL, block this MAC group from reaching any IP address.

@Virgo

the goal is to set the static ip and mac reservation, and block other mac address from accessing the lan not only the internet, here is the spec from https://www.tp-link.com/us/business-networking/omada-sdn-router/er605/

Hi @Virgo

How can do allow for the MAC group only to access LAN? Change from Deny to Permit, this right?

@Osoo I have the same Problem. I try to let only the MAC Adresses in the MAC Group Access to LAN.

I think Change from Deny to Permit, this right is not the right Answer.
