Hi,

Is there any big difference between Omada compatibility and VLAN support of these two products or something else not expected?

TL-SG2210P

I can see the TL-SG2210P have three hardware versions and once again im afraid to order something that is outdated hardware-wise since i have not still got an answear how the versioning works.
one have 8 ports POE the other have 4 ports.
I have not seen any POE powered switches (no adapter) like Unifi already have. Maybe they are working on it :)

Thanks

@HA4g3n

They are both Controller compatible, and there shouldn't be significant difference on VLAN or Omada compatibility.

The main difference I found is related to power supply/consumption and switching capacity and packet forwarding rate.

If you have more interest, you can compare their specification.

@Virgo
Yeah iv'e compared items spreadsheet wise but it's still very unclear what hardware version i get and what will work and not over the Omada controller, like rolling a dice :p

@HA4g3n

But pay carefully attention on Hardware version. I endup buying a TL-SG2210P V1 and Omada supports only from V3 and beyond ;/
