Setup R600VPN on office network - for users to login via internet

Hi,
Is there a step by step procedure for setting up a vpn access from home(via internet) to connect to the office server.?
Current hardware:-
TL-WR841ND (ip - 192.168.1.1) connected to access Unifi broadband
TL-R600VPN (192.168.1.49) connected to the WR-841ND via DMZ
DMZ set on WR841ND with ip 192.168.1.49
Server ip - 192.168.1.50 connected to the WR841ND
For PPTP, port 1723 opened and pointed to 192.168.1.50
VPN dial-up setup and connected.
BUT when using NET USE J:\\server name\shared_folder_name. No connection possible
Cannot ping the remote server when connected.
Pls advise
