I have created the rule for port 3389 with the correct ip for my pc, however when I try to connect after doing so it doesn't work. All advice appreciated
@Vyizis Hi, I managed to fix it. Turns out remote desktop decided to disable itself when I switched router for some reason, since it was working before. Probably should have been the first thing that I checked. Cheers for the advice!
That looks correct, you can use a tool like this to check if the port is open: https://www.whatismyip.com/port-scanner/
I assume you can connect to your PC using RDC from within your network?
