Non omada switch

Can an OC 200 manage EAPs connected to and powered by a non omada poe switch?
Scenario 1- switch is a tp link non omada switch
Scenario 2- switch is not a tp link switch

OMG, sorry for misunderstanding your question, I thought you were asking if such a switch could be managed by the controller?
Yes, if you only worried that your switch is not TP-Link and not SDN compatible, and that the EAP will not be managed by the OC200 when connected to this switch,
then the answer is you don't need to worry, EAP still can be managed by the controller.

As far as I know, no, the tplink controller can only manage Omada-compatible devices, first of all, the device being managed must support Omada, and there is no way to manage other brands of devices, I think lol.

There is no problem with non omada switches - both scenarios will work. I am using it just like that.

Thanks for replying. I should have said that the EAPs are omada but the switches are not. And that was the jist of my query
