EAP610 - new firmware, more 5GHz channels (DFS)
Hi all,
is there planned any new firmware for EAP610 which would allow more 5GHz channels?
4 available channels are enough for only one 80MHz wide channel and this is really not enough.
Thanks

So EAP610 lacks DFS channels, it was damn good I saw, I thought to order some of them but then I do not.
I have some EAP620HD and EAP660HD they have DFS channels so why not EAP610

@shberge I think 620HD and 660HD got DFS channels support just few weeks ago.
EAP610 should be the same like 620HD if your don't need 100+ clients and I don't. My home currently has 25 Wi-Fi devices and I'm total geek. :D
620HD doesn't have anything more and 660HD is very expensive for home usage.
I don't understand why is so diffucult to release firmware for all EAP6xx at once when all devices are very similar or same

Previously both the EAP660 and EAP620 did not support DFS, but both have since been updated with FW support, so I assume the EAP610 will be updated after that.
I hope so.

Wait,
Is there DFS support, in the United States, with updated firmware on the EAP620/660 series?
I didn't see that in the 1.1.0 release notes:

Or are you talking about EU models?

Gotcha,
Thanks! Yes, I thought so.
No idea why TP-Link ignores the DFS spectrum here in the USA. Surely it cannot cost that much more to get the FCC to certify this at the same time as the other bands.
