Hi,

 

I have 3 EAP245's and the are working great in combination with the Omdad controller (Software)

But recently I installed my new IIYAMA screens, one of them has a dockingstation included. So I used the second port of the EAP245 to link the IIYAMA screen, but I noticed the low speed (110 Mbps).

 

So I tested my laptop directtly on the 2nd ethernet port of the EAP245 and had the same results (110 Mbps). So I tested on my to other EAP245's and had the same result (110 Mbps). Then I tested directly on the ethernet port on my wall and got the speed I was expecting (300 Mpbs).

 

So the 2nd Gigabit ethernet port is not working as advertised... Why?!?

 

Please advise.

Try the speedtest website and see what the values are.
Change the cable, change the PC or something to test what the speed is?

If you use this EAP in standalone mode, what is the speed?

 

If you can, you can reset one of EAPs and do not set anything and test again.

The speed I mentioned were from speed test, using the website fast.com.

 

I tested it on 3 laptops. The Ethernet adapter on all laptops show 1GB speed, but all have the same throughput results (110Mbps).

 

I followed your suggestion about testing in standalone mode, but also the same throughput results (110Mbps).

 

The speed should be around 300Mbps.

 

So the throughput is not okay on the 2nd Ethernet port of the AP.

 

@Fae You have helped me before. Can you take a look at this?
