Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0

I bought a brand new ER605 last week and I setup it in my network (static IP 192.168.1.220). I created also a VPN L2TP connection and it was working without problem until today. Today, I can not have access to web interface (UI). Login page can not load but I can ping to 192.168.1.220 from my PC. Also, the system light blinking normally. I unplugged it and reconnected it to the mains several times but still no have access to login page.

I reseted it and I restored the configuration backup. I found in System Tools  >> Admin Setup  >> Remote Management a record the following entry (ID=1, Subnet/Mask = 192.168.1.224/28, Status = Enabled)! I deleted, I restart the router and the router automatically add the same entry in Remote Management.

I read the manual https://static.tp-link.com/2021/202102/20210208/1910012985_ER605&ER7206(UN)_UG.pdf#p189 and I don't understand what Remote Management do. Also, why the ER605 add automatically the following entry to Remote Management after reboot? Was this entry the reason I was denied access to the web interface?

@ManosVal I don't think it has anything to do with local LAN login. The remote management is for accessing management page from WAN side. The screenshot means only 192.168.1.224/28 can login the management page from WAN connection. If your WAN port is connected to the Internet directly, this rule is meaningless. But I also don't know why the system add this rule automatically, I didn't see it happens on my router. You may try Omada Controller software it's totally free: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/omada-software-controller/
