Hi,

 

Use only if really need the auto backup feature of OC200.

 

OC200 only allow auto backup if powered via PoE.

But, if power via micro USB, this feature is not available.

 

If connect a external powered USB storage device, OC200 allow to use it as external backup.

Make sure what device is not back power the CO200.

Do you use an external USB device to power the OC200?
Could you please share the model number of your USB device?

Hi, Our OC200 is not in production yet. We are leaning how use, and testing configurations. 
 

The possibility to enable external storage are tested using a 3.5" HDD Enclosure (big and a old one). 
 

You can buy any 3.5" external HDD Enclosure (most have a external power supply). 
Or, more rare, 2.5" HDD Enclosure with external power supply.
And, have a device called USB power injector (Y Cable), you can use with USB stick.
I not endorsing this non official way to use external storage on OC200 or similar device.
