Hello folks, i have a trable with the Pre-recorded Time setting. By default, it is set to 5 seconds, but recording starts 1-2 seconds after the event occurred (motion detection). I tried changing the time to 1, 3, 10, 15, 20 and 30 seconds, but nothing changed. It looks like this setting doesn't work.

Could you please provide a screenshot to show your issue?

How did you confirm this function doesn't work?

Best Regards!

  @Hank21

Maybe I didn't describe the problem clearly. The Pre-recorded Time is needed to compensate for the motion detection delay. For any value of the parameter (1-30 sec), recording starts at the moment of motion detection. I came to this conclusion by watching the recorded videos.

Although, with a parameter value of 5 seconds, the recording should start 5 seconds earlier of the event detection.

Hope this clear.

Thanks

  @Metalruler

Hi, did you manage to change the recording time to make it longer ?

How can you change the recording length on the NVR ?
