Ok, if you want to use ER605 as OpenVPN server you have to put your home nework on ER605 LAN.

Hello @shberge

as you suggest I "moved" the Hosts that I want to be reached by the remote PC to the ER605 LAN (now these hosts acquired the IP Address on network 192.168.0.x instead 192.168.1.x as before) but unfortunately when the VPN is ON I cannot "see" any host; in the LOG file always appared the error:

ROUTE: route addition failed using service: The object already exists [status=5010 if_index=16]

I do not understand why you do not make this work, I did a quick test here and it worked in less than 5 min. there must be something else in your config that makes it not work.

here is the screen on config I did now.

Replay from remote site

What client do you use?

I use OpenVPN 3.3.4 for windows

  @shberge

here is my server configuration:

My configuration page it's a little bit different.

Is it possible that the issue is because my ER605 is running in Stand Alone Mode and not in Controller Mode?

  @LucioRib

It should work in stand alone but Your Local Network is 192.168.0.0/24 not 10.8.0.0/24

try to change, maybe you need to download OVPN file and import the file in client after change, Im not sure.

and you can use ip pool 10.8.0.0/24

  @shberge

thank you for your suggestions.

My mistake is to set the [Local Network] parameter in OpenVPN Server settings:

NO 10.8.0.0/24 but 192.168.0.0/24

Now is working correctly.

Thanks again.

  @LucioRib

Hi, I am having same issue that I am not able to properly connect client to OpenVPN server setup on Omada Router (my model however TL-ER7206 v1.0).

This is my setup:

TL-ER7206 Router WAN is "external ISP IP Address"

TL-ER7206 LAN IP Address 192.168.0.1 (same Gateway address for LAN)

All APs and PCs connected to TL-SG2210MP Switch

TL-SG2210MP Switch connected to TL-ER7206 LAN port

All devices on LAN have addresses 192.168.0.x

OpenVPN server setup:

OpenVPN client gives this error:

ROUTE: route addition failed using service: The object already exists.   [status=5010 if_index=9]

Client assigned IP: 10.8.8.10

I can ping default Gateway: 192.168.0.1, but nothing else on the LAN network.

I tried several times in the past year to make Omada OpenVPN server work, but unfortunately always the same error.

Would any of you guys be able to help me out?

Dear  @gedi

my configuration is running OK (I can reach any device on the network) even if I continue to see the error in LOG file.

ROUTE: route addition failed using service: The object already exists. [status=5010 if_index=7]

This error is not blocking...
