Hi there. I have a POE+ switch that supports 802.3af/at. Can I plug the EaP225-Outdoor antenna without using the passive POE adaptar, that is providing power just with the Switch? Do I need a specific hardware version on the antenna?

Yes, EAP225-Outdoor should support both ways of power supplying - check these specs.
