Model: EAP225-Outdoor
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 5.x

I am trying to see if there is a way to set a simple preference for Access Points over a different AP.  I have three APs (two indoor, one outdoor) and a OC200 controller.  Is there a simple way to set a preference to default to the indoor APs, but use the outdoor AP if that's the best signal?

Or do I just need to use the Fast Switching and dial down the radio power on the outdoor AP?

  @Thyamine

The exact choice of which EAP's WiFi the client chooses to connect to is very much dependent on the client's own mechanisms, like a threshold in terms of WiFi connectivity.

You can also turn on the fast roaming function on the controller, for more details see this.

Of course you can also control the signal range of the EAP by increasing or decreasing the TX power.
