Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

In the event log, I am getting this happen very often for what it seems like two devices.  Any idea how I can figure out why?

This seems to be happening for months now, across two different LAN ports.

Ring Alarm is simply hardwired to a switch -> router with several other clients that have no issue.

The Blue Iris is on a proxmox / virtual server, and all the other VMs don't have any issues.

Here is a screenshot from the UI showing the history tab with 11K, 5K, or a regular device <10.

Blue Iris was disconnected from network "LAN" on Router(connected time:24m connected, traffic: 0Bytes).

Ring Alarm was disconnected from network "LAN" on Router(connected time:25m connected, traffic: 0Bytes).

Blue Iris is connected to Router on LAN network.

  @MannyF What is the controller version?

Have you done fixed IP on these devices?

Dear  @MannyF

Could you please check the following information:

1. Did you see actual network disconnection on Ring Alarm or Blue Iris? Or it's just "disconnect” on controller but the devices still have Internet connection?

2. If you connect the Ring Alarm or Blue Iris to the Router port directly, will the issue still happen? If so, we will need to check controller verison and router firmware version for further troubleshooting

3. Is there any special settings on these client devices like VLAN?

  @Hank21

1. I don't believe I am seeing an actual disconnection as the cameras on blue iris do not seems to have gaps in the video recording time.

2. Blue iris is a VM on Proxmox directly connected to the router.  Ring Alarm is going through a switch, but I will try and direct connect it this evening and let you know.

3. No VLANs or special settings other then fixed IPs on certain devices.

  @btx

Ill have to review that thread again, and I'll look to do the upgrade to 1.2.0.  Although, last time I did it - I had to enter recovery mode to go back to 1.1.1.

The actual cameras have no issues, it's the software NVR that is getting the disconnects in the logging.  But it seems like it never looses connectivity with the cameras when that happens.

I upgraded the TL-R605 v1.0 to version 1.2.1.  Let's hope it fixes it!  I will post an update shortly
