Can I use the vlan feature on my eap660 hd if it is connected straight into my firewall (Sonicwall TZ270)?
Do I need a TP-link switch in between?
Currently if I enable vlan and address (tag) it, the firewall dhcp does not give it an address.
I have also put the same tag on the adapter it is plugged into.
It looks as if Sonicwall TZ270 is VLAN-aware so it is just a matter of proper configuration to make it work. Basically you need to define on Sonicwall TZ270 the same VLANs (DHCP enabled) as on EAP660 HD and create a tagged (trunk) connection between them.

I had the dhcp setup for the parent interface but not the virtual.
