Bad reliability when OC200 connected directly to ER605 router
This network layout with the OC200 connected to a LAN port of the ER605 router causes the ER605 to have constant disconnects / adopt / provision / configure loops
This config, with the OC200 attached to the top level switch is stable
Why is this...? Surely the first layout with the controller DIRECTLY connected to the router should be as, if not more reliable ???

I'm still a bit curious if the OC200 is powered the same way in both topologies you've done? Both are Micro USB powered?
Or is the second one powered by a POE switch?
Also in both topologies, is the network cable connected to the OC200, router the same? Length quality and such.

Same cable and I've tried both USB and PoE power.
I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that it's the router which is flakey. Had the APs and switches for over a year without any problems. All my issues have been since I added the router in order to have a fully integrated system.
When it works it's great...
I currently have the OC200 plugged directly back into the router, power cycled both and it's been fine for the last 24 hours 🤞

Crapped out after a few days, the router shows up as disconnected in the client list even though the controller is directly connected to the router...
Plug the controller into the switch and the router reconnects....
