Model: EAP225-Wall
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 5.0.3 Build 20210604 Rel. 53135

Hi,

I have a complete Omada / TP-Link home network.

Recently I extended the network with 6 EAP225 Wall's.

Yet, I'm encountering problems with it.
The Accesspoints are well adopted and online. I can ping to all 6 inwall Accesspoints.

But I don't see traffic on it. There are no clients connected to it.

I upgraded the firmware to the latest version, I forgot the AP's and re-adopted them. I checked all settings, but no solution.
On the TP Link dashboard I do see a difference between my other EAP's and the inwalls. The radio and channel is not defined.
I can also see that there are 0 bytes upload and download.

I have been searching and trying for days, no result.

Any tips?

  @FlowJan

Do you use PPSK?

when a closer look it looks like you are using an old contoller, then you should downgrade to a version that suits your controller,

download from this site.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/eap225-wall/#Firmware

this version is for vers 3.x controllers,

EAP225-Wall(EU)_V2_1.4.0 Build 20191213

@shberge thank you for your reply.

I am not using PPSK.
But indeed I do have an older version of the controller since I have EAP225's with hardware version 1.0/2.0.
They are not supported by the newer controller software.

Apparantly I did install the latest firmware for those inwalls and now I do see that they aren't supported by controllers with a lower version than 4.1.

I did overlook that. I will try it out and confirm it.

Thanks a lot.
