Help,

 

Trying to setup VPN for windows client.  System log says "WAN: IKE negotiation began in responder mode." "WAN: Phase 1 of IKE negotiation succeeded." then "WAN: Phase 2 of IKE negotiation succeeded." 5 times. and the Windows side says server failed to respond.

 

Unit is behind Verizon MI24WR-GEN3I  port forwarding appears to be working as the 605 log shows connection.  

 

Ideas as to why it doesn't finish?  It does not get to the point of asking for username and password.

  @jimhunt Which kind of VPN you are using? L2TP?

 

I have OpenVPN running and works perfert. However currently tplink openvpn cannot do proxy Internet access, it only allow me to access the router LAN network. If you also don't need proxy Internet, you can try OpenVPN.
