I just recently purchased this VIGI C400HP. However, when i tried to hook up using POE method on the Cat 5 cable to router, there wasnt any signal, can anyone advise ? It says its 802.3af/at, class 0, can i know what does that mean? Can a normal router/modem with ethernet Lan ports support? Now it lies like a white elephant on my desk

Do you use a POE switch to power it?

This camera can be not only powered by POE switch, but also by normal power cord.

 

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
