Firmware Version:

My Telus 2.5G internet came with a Nokia SFP module, when I plug into my new SX3008F, nothing happens, light not up. Is it not compatible?

Can I buy another module to use though?

SX3008F has 10G SFP ports, is your Nokia SFP module also 10G?

In the end, it turned out SX3008F does NOT support ONT xgs-pon module.

This is my current topology: Wall -> XGS_PON -> Telus AccessHub (ONT) -> Cat6 -> Cat6-to-SFP converter -> Ubiquiti DreamMachinePro

I was able to move my FTTH PON ONT SFP into this (I recognize it's only 1Gbps and you may have more than that) and there are 10G/SFP+ option out there:

https://www.amazon.com/Converter-G0200-SFP-33-10GBase-T-meters/dp/B08LQ7H3NB

and directly feed my Omada router from that.

It was really nice to shut down the 5?! wireless radios in my ISP's 'home hub' that were messing with my carefully engineered Omada wifi.

If you want to get really clever they made a POE version of this box for other markets...but it had less than stellar reliability reviews.
