Model: TL-ER6120
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.0.2 Build 20200313 Rel.47458

I have the same problem as described in these posts where the clients (max 50 machines) face "DNS not resolved" error in Chrome, all of a sudden after 10-15 mins due to DHCP crashing and not resolving DNS.

I tried to disable all firewall attack defense options but still the problem prevails.

The only way I can resolve this problem is to disable the DHCP in the router and run a separate DHCP server.

Firmware:

3.0.2 Build 20200313 Rel.47458

Hardware:

TL ER6120 v3

While the issue is resolved by running another dhcp, I still would like to know why can't this router handle 50 clients simultaneously?

  @iByteCode

I am a bit confused, is your current problem with DHCP or DNS?
Is the client that is having this problem getting an IP properly?
If you are using a separate DHCP Server, have you also set up a new DNS?
Or are you still using the ER6120's DNS?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @Virgo

Problem is with DHCP, specifically DHCP server is sometimes not giving out ip address and not resolving DNS queries.

We setup another DHCP with the same DNS primary/secondary IPs as configured in ER6120 and disable the DHCP in ER6120. Everything works well.

So the issue is not with DNS primary/secondary IP servers, only with ER6120 not able to handle DNS queries.
