I've been fighting with trying to set the MTU to 9218/9000, but come to find out it's not available until degrading my SDN network and putting into standalone mode.

 

This isn't a new request, but why is it not available yet?? 

Running on an OC200 with 5.6.4 - MTU editing is available on my TL-SG3428, but not my 10g switch (TL-SX3008F), which could actually benefit from Jumbo Frame.

 

I had been told by chat support that I could change the setting via the console, but 'enable-admin' only works when not managed by Omada!

Jumbo Frame is aviable in controller version 5.7

I have that screen for my TL-SG3428, but not for the 10g - using 5.6.4 Any idea when 5.7 will be available for the OC200? It's a bit silly that the software controller comes out before their own hardware, lol

According to the release notes, this is not a problem of the controller but of the firmware. There has been a firmware update for SG3428 and since then, jumbo frames can be enabled in the controller. Firmware updates for SX3008F and most other series to enable this feature have not been published yet.

  @mwo Yup...so we're waiting for switch firmware with no real work-around...gotta love it
