Slow downloads on ER8411 V1.0 FW1.0.1
Hey All,
I just got my ER8411 installed. I have a 2gb ATT fiber connection. I used the TP Link SFP+-RJ45 modules to link the 5GBE port on my BGW320 gateway to the ER8411. I have another SFP+-RJ45 in the SFP+ to a 2.5gbe Switch. I have IP passthrough properly configured so my 8411 gets a public IP. When I use speedtest sites or downlaod large files, I am only seeing 1025MBPS down but 2200 mbps up. Has anyone else had issues with slower download speeds? I confirmed that I am actually getting 2200down and 2200 up when directly connected to my gateway. Possible software hiccup?

@8411guy I sent them another email to confirm if the fix was part of this release or there is another issue.

I have run through MANY different iterations of this using the BGW320 device and a 2Gb line.
I finally figured out everything I needed to do to get a solid 2.4Gbps connection Upload and Download pretty consistently.
The actual key to this for me was in fact the ER8411 settings in combination with settings on the AT&T device.
(Make note that I have multiple switches here as per my network setup, but the same results can be achieved with the SG3210XHP directly into the ER8411).
Here's what I have, and maybe it'll help.
My Setup is:
Alienware R9 with TP-Link TX201 2.5Gb adapter (Realtek chipset)
Flow Control: Rx and Tx Enabled (Default setting)
Jumbo Frames: Disabled (Default setting)
[Speed Test Performed with Ookla desktop app:]

LAN connection in Port 2 (10Gb SFP+ Port).
SFP Used: TP-Link SM5310-T RJ45 SFP+ 10G (10BASE-T compatible)
(Note: Also tried a MikroTik S+RJ10 but it did not give me as good results)
[Also Note: I left DDM Status off, esp as I noticed temp is about 72.8 Celcius / 163 Fahrenheit.
This is technically just over the documented limit of 0-70 Celcius stated by TP-Link for commercial products OT.
Enabling this CAN and probably WILL cause the port to shut down at times].

DHCP Server: Disabled
(Note that I am using a Static IP from AT&T, so these settings are specific to that usage).
Public Subnet Mode: ON
Allow Inbound Traffic: OFF (Turn on when needed only, and remember to only use pinholes)
Public Gateway IP: 99.30.xxx.xxx
Public Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.248
DHCP: Blank
Cascaded Router: OFF
Firewall Status:
Packet FIlter: ON (Default)
IP Passthrough: OFF
NAT Default Server: OFF
Firewall Advanced: ON (Default)
(I would recommend keeping the firewall turned on. I found no difference in speed).
Also note, that I am using AT&T ActiveArmor internet security service that comes free.
I've not noticed issues with this.
I do not run my switches or firewall via Omada, as it does not allow you to modify many settings (such as Flowcontrol).
I tried this in Omada mode first, with very poor results on my SB network.
I love Omada for wireless and that's it.

@8411guy I finally managed to fix my slow download.
for now I tested with my Mac Mini with gigabit Ethernet but as soon as I get my new Mini with 10G I'll post the result for that too.
- I updated the firmware of the ER8411 to the latest one that just release few days ago (1.0.2)
- I changed my SFP+ modules as @8411guy suggested to the TP-Link (TP-Link TL-SM5310-T | 10GBase-T RJ45 SFP+ Module | 10G Copper SFP+ Transceiver)
- I then turned on Flow Control on my Mac Mini, on the TP-Link switch (TL-SG2008P ) that my Mac Mini connects to (both on the uplink port as well as the port that my mini connects to)
- then I turned on Flow Control on my main switch (TL-SG3428X) both on the uplink to ER8411 and the port that connects to (TL-SG2008P)
- restarted both switches and Mac Mini.
now using my gigabit NIC, I get 940Mbps down and 50 up. compared to when I originally setup the ER8411 which I was getting 400Mbps down and 30-40Mbps up.
once I get the 10Gbps NIC, then hopefully I see the full speed download on my ISP which goes to 2Gbs :).
I created a separate profile on my Omada for Flow Control Override to apply to the ports I want so it is easy to identify when looking at ports of the swithc.

here's the fix! It worked for me. Finally! Make sure your OC200 is dhcp or that you change the lan subnet to whatever your OC200 is set to if static to access the controller again. @KPejman
