Hello,

Sorry if the question has already been asked, but the search box is just frustrating...

I purchased an access point model EAP653 and purchased a POE power injector (TL-PoE150S).

It does work, but I saw that the AP should be using POE+.  Should I change it?  Would it give a better coverage?  Not sure what the difference would be exactly since it's working as-is (although the coverage is less than my Asus wireless router)

Thanks!

Yes you should change to POE+.

It's not about the wifi coverage, it's about the operation life.

You can't expect a device always work normal without providing it enough power.
