Model: ER7212PC
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: V1_1.0.1 Build 20221106

Hey
After recent problems with the configuration of Omad for ER605V2 and OC200v2 devices, I decided to invest and purchase a 3 in 1 combo device, i.e. ER7212P.
The device is wonderful because using the ER7212PC I get rid of it
ER605V2 / OC200V / TL-SG1005P.
Unfortunately, I am very disappointed, because it performs worse than a set of three single devices.
ER7212PC I have uploaded the latest FW V1_1.0.1 Build 20221106, and the configuration is as follows
that the ONT from the provider is connected to the ER7112PC WAN3 port and it connects via the PPPoE protocol. The local network operates on the address 192.168.10.1/254. The TL-SG2218 switch also participates in the division of the Internet.
After the first configuration, everything works fine until I do the first reboot of the ER7112PC. After this action, the device wakes up for a good 5 minutes.
When it starts, a strange phenomenon occurs:
1. I cannot access the Internet even though the PPPoE connection is online.
2. But I have access from the outside, e.g. from the GSM network to IP cameras working inside my local network.
The only way to get everything back to normal is to turn the device over
factory settings and reconfigure it.

Is there any solution to this problem?

  @sadaman

Could that be DNS issue? Are you still able to ping the router IP and 8.8.8.8 when there is no Internet?

Also you can try a smaller MTU on WAN settings, like 1480 or 1460

Hello.

Thanks for the hint, but for now I have returned to the proven ER605 and OC200 set.

However, I sent the ER7212PC back to the seller.

It is possible that I will return to this product when TP-Link releases a revised FW deprived of childhood.
