I can create an L2TP/PPTP/OpenVPN Connection and connect successfully using Windows VPNs.

When I try to create IKEv2 PSK connection, for connecting Android12+ devices, the policy throws an error:
For an IPSec policy with the same IP address at both ends, the parameters in Phase-1 should be kpet the same.

Problem #1:

I can only create IKEv2 IPSEC policy if I remove L2TP server. How do I configure both together matching Phase-1 settings as in the error?

 

Problem #2:

IKEv2 Android Connection FAQ is outdated. I have tried to use the FAQ guide but I am unable to connect my Andorid 13 phone to LAN via router's IKEv2.

 

Problem #3:
I am configuring a wireguard/strongswan vpn server using a Ubuntu Server distro. If I port forward 4500/500UDP to machine, router built-in OpenVPN server does not work as it depends on these ports. How can I configure a VPN server without portforwarding?

 

Problem #4

Could not find where IKEv2/IPSEC RSA/MSCHAPv2 configurations in router. How can these be configured in router?

Do you have multiple IPsec/L2TP VPN rules with IP 0.0.0.0?

If so, you will get that error messages, if you delete others and then it will work.

No. I do not have multiple policies. That is what I stated in the post. I am unable to add or use IPSEC and L2TP together.

Confirm issue with Android 13 phone .

 

Something missing at official FAQ.

Android reports "Connecting.... Not secure", and then "Unsuccessful"
