Is it safe to upgrade my ER605 v1.0 to this one if using Omada Beta 5.9.9?
I wanted to upgrade my firmware for the ER605 hardware v1.0 but the description for the new firmware mentions only Omada v5.8 while I'm using the beta v5.9.9. Is it still safe to upgrade the ER605 v1 with firmware ER605 V1_1.2.3 Beta Firmware For Trial (Released on Feb 28th, 2023)? Having some stability issues when streaming Live TV and missing the Mode: CA+Account option for OpenVPN clients. Maybe at least one of these problems will be fixed with this firmware.

@d0ugmac1 Thanks for your response. I think at this point I'd be more inclined to buy at least a 2.5 to 10 Gbps router but on the cheapest side because I'd need to upgrade my switch too.
Unfortunately with my current setup, Bell's fibe cable goes through main floor wall to the ER605, then down to my basement to a gibabit switch. From there it webs across via cat6 to other rooms in the house. So replacing just the one on the main floor will not give all my devices more than 1 Gbps. Although so far I only have my laptop that supports 2.5 Gbps. My Synology DS920+ would also need to be upgraded so just too much work and expense for the benefit I'd be getting that would only be nice to have.
