Will TP-Link ever fix the VPN on the ER8411?

It has been documented everywhere. The VPN fonctions barely work on that router. Tons of people are mad. I was able to setup an IPsec VPN, but L2TP just won't work. It worked once and never again.
Can we have some sort of ETA? This is an expensive product compared to the ER605 or ER7212. It's a shame it was even released like that.

@shberge It's even wilder than that. I just tested it on an old mac mini I had laying around. The L2TP VPN will connect instantly, and it works perfectly fine. On windows? The VPN does not even see a connection. And yes, all my settings are correct, it was working perfectly fine using an ER605.

yes I know, nothing works as it should except site to site vpn, There are even problems with the L2TP client on the ER8411, luckily I found out that the remote site which is unifi had to enable Require MS-CHAP v2 then connected the client on the ER8411 to the L2TP server.
I also replaced the ER605v2 with the ER8411, after the replacement neither the OpenVPN client nor the L2TP Client worked on the router anymore.
I don't use the L2TP server on the ER8411 myself so haven't tested it that much but have you enabled
Microsoft CHAP verion 2 (MS-CHSAP-v2) on the Windows client?

ER8411 has released a new firmware version ER8411(UN)_V1_1.0.3 Build 20230313.
Could you please upgrade to this firmware and test it again?
