EAP-610
I have an EAP-610 connected to another TP-Link router that is in a dining hall. The 610 is aimed at a cabin approx 400' away. I get a great wireless signal on the front porch of the cabin but absolutely nothing inside the cabin. I guess the log walls, metal roof, and double pane Low E windows are too much to get a wireless signal through to the inside. What do I need to bring a wired connection to the inside of the cabin?

@DBShelton Ok but can you elaborate on why you could not get the CPE710 to connect to the EAP610? Did you ever see the EAP610 wifi in the scan list of the CPE710?

@DBShelton ok then you where nowhere near setting up a connection between the two.
First your EAP610 5Ghz Radio needs to be on the higher channels. Not sure which channels are compatible but to keep it simple choose 161.
Then your CPE710 has to be in client mode, where you can then access survey under the wireless client section (see below).
Once you click Survey, you will see a list. Put a check mark by the appropriate host and click connect. Once you go back to the previous screen, enter the Wi-Fi password that you have set for the EAP610.
This has proven to be a solid connection for me.

Thanks, that gives me some understanding of what I need to do.
For some reason I can't access the CPE710 and it doesn't show up on an IP scan. How do I completely reset everything. Including the username and password. I tried holding the reset for 10 seconds

BTW the EAP610 did show up in the scan but I had to reconfigure that CPE710 as a client to use with the other CPE710 access point. It seems that the one used as a client went bad. Hopefully the warranty can take care of that since it won't reset or connect (only the Power LED lights up)

I did manage to get the EAP610 to Wavlink Wifi Extender connection to work and get that back in service.

@DBShelton You would need to set the working CPE710 to Client Mode as outlined in the images I posted earlier. Manually set the EAP610 to channel 161 as outlined earlier. Unless you provide screen shots of each of the devices configurations, or list the values you have set for each field like IP address and gateway on each device, there is not much more I can help you with.
