Model: EAP225-Outdoor  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.0.9

Omada SW Controller (version 5.9.31) ask me to upgrade firmware of two EAP225-Outdoor(EU) v1.0

 

These AP are in version 5.0.9

The new firmware will be 5.1.0

 

Anyone have the same issue ?

Hi, have you tried upgrading them manually on the controller?

Check this: EAP225-Outdoor(EU)_V1_5.1.0 Build 20220926

I've tried manual upgrade, same error of automatic update.

 

Here some screenshoot : procedure start, and after some minutes I've got the error

  @Virgo Unfortunately, this is not my case.

AP and Controller are in the same vlan, so there is no problem of port due of use of the same L2.

 

Also thsi problem is happening only with this specific AP in this specific hardware version (and so this specific firmware).

Other AP (245 and 225v3) are not suffering the same problem.

Uhm...maybe you can forget the EAP on the controller, and upgrade them to the 5.1.0 in standalone mode then manage them by controller again.

But note Forget means reset, so it is up to you, but actually the controller will assign the setting files to the EAP again once EAPs are managed by controller.
