Hello everyone.

Until now my EAP225s have worked flawlessly. This past week my home was part of the large Summit outages. Since then I am encountering speed issues.

My current system is as follows.

I have a 2 floor home, each floor has a ceiling mounted EAP225. Both have (2) SSIDs. (1) at 2.4Ghz and (1) at 5Ghz. Those names are matched on both floors.

I have the 2.4ghz set to channels to help with the traffic from neighbors Wifi, and my 5G network is set to auto.

Hardwired I am always in the 500 up and down range at the lowest but average about 800 on a 1G service.

Since the outage my speed has improved at my hardwired station but at most I get 75 on 2.4 and 400 on 5g.

Is there any recommendations anyone could share?

Hi, try changing the channel and channel width like this.

Sometimes, the quality and length of the cables will influence the speed either.

  @Virgo

Thank you, does it matter if both floors have the same channels? This question applies to both networks.

Better to put them in a different channel, and optimize the occupation of channels.
