Firmware Version: 1.0.3

Hello,

I added a new client OpenVPN connection, and imported ovpn file with certificates inside, router shows that the connection is enabled, but I couldn't access the internal VPN network. There are no records in controller logs. How to obtain OpenVPN logs?

Thanks!

Config looks like this:

client
dev tun
proto udp
remote server_ip 1194
remote-cert-tls server
nobind
auth-nocache
script-security 2
persist-key
persist-tun

<ca>
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
...
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
</ca>
<cert>
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
...
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
</cert>
<key>
-----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY-----
...
-----END PRIVATE KEY-----
</key>

  @unkn0wn

So you mean the ER7212PC as an OpenVPN client connecting to the server? Have you tried importing the ovpn file into a PC to test if the server is running?

If you try to ping the OpenVPN server from ER7212 side, can it ping through?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

@Virgo Yes, as client connecting to the server. Of course, the same config for openvpn works fine from linux command line or using NetworkManager. I couldn't find the ping tool in Omada controller and it's not available as a command in BusyBox via ssh as well. But I could find VPN Status that shows "No VPN sessions found.", that's mean that vpn connection never established.

That router was promoted as VPN router, but couldn't handle simple VPN task? Thinking about returning it.
