Model: EAP265 HD
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I currently have all my networks managed by Omada, that includes several switches and wifi. Now I want to use the the USB feature of a 3rd party router (in this case it's the TP Link ArcherAX72Pro). Basically to share an external hard drive over my current network. The router is connected and has an IP but I can't connect to the admin portal of it to manage it.

The only way to connect to it is to connect via the router's Wifi and manage the settings which is telling me the device might not be on the same network or maybe I need to allow some ports or configure something on the external router which will allow me to see it and hopefully do USB Share.

P.S. If I connect to the router's wifi, I can connect/manage my Omada. The other direction isn't working.

Connect to Router's wifi > access Omada = works

Connect to Omada's network > access router = doesn't work.

Can someone please help me with this? TIA

It's a router, it doesn't get an ip :-)
You must set an IP that is in the same network as yours.
you can try with 10.10.7.2 mask 255.255.255.0

it is important that you switch off DHCP on the acher router, otherwise you will get two DHCP servers on the network and that is not good

you have connected to WAN, you will not be able to connect then? you must disable DHCP, set a fixed IP on the LAN on Archer router and connect one of the LAN ports to the network where everything else is.

Thanks for the advice.  See that's the problem, it doesn't get an IP from Omada.  DHCP disabled, LAN IP was already fixed to 10.10.10.10 and cable connected to LAN port now.  And still can't connect to 10.10.10.10.
