I have been trying to figure out why my EAP110-Outdoor APs will not assign IP address to devices.

My other APS work just fine.  I have 2x 670s and a 615 wall.  The SSIDs and VLANs work fine on these 3 devices.

But only on the EAP110s, the device connects, and never gets an IP.  There are no errors.  Nothing in the logs on the controller.


ER605 v2.0 --> TL-SG2210MP v4.0 --> 2x EAP670(US) v1.0 + EAP615-Wall(US) v1.0 + 2x EAP110-Outdoor.


Omada controller:
5.9.31
All firmware latest stable release.
No Mesh, all directly plugged into TL-SG2210MP.  The EAP110s are using the included POE injector.
Wireless has been "AI Optimized"

I have reset, tried different devices, tried a few different security protocols under settings/wireless networls/wlan


Any suggestions please?

Did the EAP obtain a valid IP? Have you checked VLAN settings in your network? 

If the EAP110 is used in standalone mode, can it work? Have you tested the cables?

You can also set a separate SSID for EAP110, check if the clients can see it and connect to it.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

Did the EAP obtain a valid IP? Yes, I can see their local http landing page stating it is being managed the omada controller.

Have you checked VLAN settings in your network? Yes, when working on the 670 or 615.  The vLANs work as expected. 
 

If the EAP110 is used in standalone mode, can it work? I believe standalone mode is mutually exclusive from Omada Controller.  Since it is controlled by a controller, I do not think standalone is possible.  In any case, it is adopted to the controller and has same settings as all other APs.

Have you tested the cables?  Yes.  2 different cables to 2 different 110s have the same issue.  I have tested by putting a 615 in their place.  And the 615 works as expected.
 

You can also set a separate SSID for EAP110, check if the clients can see it and connect to it:  Yes, I tried this yesterday.  Unfortunately, more of the same.  I did not create a seperate WLAN group... I'll try that later.
