Model: ER707-M2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0

Hi I've just purchased the ER707-M2 v1.0 router which I want to use with my 1000/1000 Mbit fiber connection from KPN (The Netherlands).

I have the fiber connection on the SFP port of the router but I can't set the MTU of the SFP module (nor any other port) to an MTU of 1508, can that be fixed.

My provider uses PPPoE on VLAN6 to get the internet connection for both IPv4 and IPv6.

It does work now with the default MTU of 1500 (and with the PPoE overhead 1492) but that needs fragmentation which is kind of a waste and exactly why this RFC was proposed to use 1508 as MTU on the WAN interface.

Are there any plans to fix this in the short-term ?

Thanks!
