Hallo zusammen,

 

hoffentlich kann mir jemand bei meinem Problem helfen.

Ich verwende den OC200 Controller als Hardwarecontroller (OC200 1.0 / Firmware: 1.26.3 Build 20230906 Rel.36269 / Controller Version: 5.12.9) in Verbindung mit dem ER605 V2 Firmwarevers.: 2.1.2.

Die meisten Sachen funktionieren mittlerweile auch tadelos, allerdings habe ich ein Thema / Problem, was ich aktuell nicht aufgelöst bekomme.

Immer täglich um die selbe Uhrzeit verliert der ER605 die WAN Verbindung

Dies ist auch unabhängig von der Firmware oder Softwareversion. Das Thema liegt schon länger vor und es sind seitdem schon einige Software- sowie Firmwareupdates eingespielt wurden.

Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand mit meinem Thema weiterhelfen.

  @Heisenberg0709 You can check the power status of ER605, does it power off when the WAN gets down? You can also check the upstream devices connected to the router's WAN port to see if any reboot schedules exist.

many thanks for  your feedback.

I checked both and nothing. 

The only which I can see is, that the WAN Link goes every next day down, 24 hours after last reboot => therefore it should not relevant if the reboot was by hand or via schedules into the night...

But why the connection get lost every day at the same time 24hours after last reboot...?

And this is really after 24hours every day...

  @Heisenberg0709 You can try plugging the cable that used to plug into your router's WAN port into your computer's network port. Then you can check if the PC has an Internet connection at the time when ER605's WAN is down.

In that particular time frame your ER605's WAN used to get down.

Short feedback about this topic.

After many telephone calls with support and any test's, firmware and so on, TP Link said it is a defect and I will get a new one.

Hopefully it will works after that.


I will let you know if it works or not. After that I will close this post.

  @Heisenberg0709 did the new router solve that problem?

 

i have the exact same problem and its driving me nuts....every fritzbox can schedule an ISP 's reconnect but Omada cant?!

Hello,

 

no, the issue is still ongoing... 

The new router has the same issue. And now I'm in contact with the TP-Link support team. But unfortunatly until now I have no soultion for this topic...

My interim solution is a schedule into the night, for example at 01:00 am, so the reboot is only into the night. But this is not a final aceptable solution.
