Model: EAP610
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20230524

Using TP Link EAP610 and TL-SG105 switch. Switch is connected to ethernet wall jack (which is connected to modem/router combo, fiber connection) and ap is connected to switch. I keep getting massive lag spikes playing FIFA 24 (EA FC 24) on my PS5 and just now it disconnected me and said Wi-Fi got disconnected. I just bought and setup the system. This never happened before when I connected straight to modem/router combo wirelessly. I am not network savvy, so what tests can I run that yall need so the problem can be diagnosed.

Also please do not suggest I connect ps5 to swtich via ethernet, this is not the solution I am looking for.

  @Husam1231242352 You can try to check the status of the EAP indicator when the device goes offline to see if the device is powered off or restarted. It is recommended that you use other devices to connect to the EAP wireless network to check whether it is normal. Is your wireless network 2.4GHz or 5GHz? You can try changing the Channel and Channel width.

  @dulu Ive tried different channels. The device only went offline once, but the lag spikes still happen. Connection is not lost on ps5 or other devices.

  @dulu

Also, firmware is 1.1.1 Build 20230524 Rel. 74262(5553)

But on this site I dont see 1.1.1. Is my current firmware the newest or should I change it?

  @Husam1231242352

So goto your client list and click on the 3 dots on the right of the screen.  enable customized columns.

Then check: Signal, Wireless Connection, RX, and TX.

Find your PS5 in the client list and lets check the signal strength and the RX/TX of the device.  This will let us what is going on.

Post the info here.

  @KimcheeGUN Hi, the ss below are ones I took when the issue happened, I used ping plotter. Here is more info.

"Using TP Link EAP610 and TL-SG105 switch. I am not network savvy so please bare with me. I can look things up on google and troubleshoot, I just dont know what to search up. I can learn.

Setup is AP---> Switch---> ethernet wall jack---> to att modem/router combo.

I am paying for 1gb down/up fiber connection, and the modem is receiving the full fiber connection. I have 3 SSIDs set up, one for 2.4ghz to the modem/router, one 5ghz to modem/router, and another 5ghz to AP. I live in a 3 story home and modem/router can only be wired on the top floor. I have the AP on the bottom floor because speeds diminish.

Below are the ping plotter graphs. Interval is set to 0.5 seconds. I have also attached a channel analyzer. I am sick of the ping spikes. I can not play any game properly."
