Model: EAP690E HD
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20230517 Rel. 62071

Why doesn't an AP as expensive as this support 160MHz 5GHz channel width?  The EAP670s do...

I found something here, and the answer is no, it doesn't support 160MHz in 5G radio.

It should support 160M, check this out:

Why did you say it doesn't?

  @Virgo

it has 160MHz on 6GHz, but not on the 5GHz radios

My 670s have 160MHz as an option on their 5GHz radio.

  @Virgo

Thanks, but my question was more to why / what is the rationale behind having a premium WiFi6E AP that only has 80MHz 5GHz channels.  I know if I had looked closer I could have seen those details, but I also saw the initial 160MHz and (incorrectly) assumed it was the 5GHz and 6GHz radios, since the 670s already had 160MHz on 5GHz.
