Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a windows 2019 server setup in my office with the latest controller software installed.

Devices in my office adopt just fine.

However, I am trying to setup other offices across the internet.

I have a DNS name registered  omada.bryma.cloud

I have the firewall ports open and forwarded in the firewall:

TCP

8043,8088,8843,27217,29811,29812,29813,29814,29815,29816

UDP

29810

I go to a router (ER605) and set the INFORM URL to:

omada.bryma.cloud

but the device never shows up.

I have tried it with checking the ENABLE cloubd based controller and unchecking it.

Not sure what I am missing.

Any ideas?

  @BRYMA

everything looks right, do you have screenshot of ER605 config?
and does the ER605 have access to the internet?

The router is currently configured locally and internet is working.

Here is the other way I have tried the config:

ok, cloud based controller is not nessesary.

and your config is as it should be. I do a test to your port and all is accessible from internett.

how is your ER605 connected ? have router access to internett on wan interface?

I guess you are familiar with unifi :-) and omada is prety mutch the same when come to adopt device.

I am thinking that there must be something in my firewall that is not correct as far as port forwarding..

I have a unifi controller that is working just fine.

Here is the scenario

I have tried both the ER605 and the ER7206

When I plug them into the network where my Omada controller resides, they show up in devices and can be adopted. I do not have to configure the CONTROLLER INFORM URL

When I take them outside to another location, when I plug them in and go to the  Controller settings, and plugin the URL of our controller, the devices never show up in the controller for adoption.

I have the following ports forwarded on my firewall (same process I use for the UNIFI controller)

TCP: 8043,8088,8843,27217,29811,29812,29813,29814,29815,29816

UPD: 29810
