So, I saw in the app new firmware was available (I was on 1.0.11 Beta) for my 670s so I applied it and I came here to see what was released, but I can't find a reference to it anywhere...so how did I get it?

You may search it on the EN website to upgrade it currently.

 

Generally speaking, the official firmware and release note will be pushed to the Cloud first, then the TP-Link global "EN" website, and slightly later to the TP-Link local websites (usually 1-2 weeks delay or so).

You may search it on the EN website to upgrade it currently.

  @Hank21 Can you please make this firmware available for download on the US website? It's been over a month now. I know it's on the EU site, but I need firmware specific to the region I'm in. Thanks.

  @W38122077 Sorry, but I will not, as it's labeled (EU) in the firmware name. In the past when one firmware is the same across regions, it is labeled accordingly (EU/US/CA and so on) in the firmware name; this one isn't. I don't want to apply this firmware and suddenly end up with a WAP that doesn't support all the Wifi frequencies that are used in the US because it's locked to the EU. Can you please upload the US firmware to the US download site. And I'm sure the other regions would also like to have a download available for their respective download sites as well.

  @SPAdmin That's up to you.  I had reached out about the same issue and was informed by @Hank21 that it was a posting issue and that the EU version is the same and that they are working on getting it fixed.  But it is compatible.
