Guten Abend,

 

ich habe bisher den EAP110 mit dem mitgelieferten PoE Adapter betrieben.

Da ich nun mehr Ports in meinem Netzwerkschrank brauchte, habe ich einen zweiten Switch (TL-SG108e) eingebaut.

Den PoE Adapter habe ich rausgenommen und den EAP110 direkt an einen PoE Port des SG108e gehängt, allerdings bekommt der EAP110 nun keinen Strom darüber.

 

Kann mir jemand helfen?

Hi @Madde88,

 

The issue you are talking about is POE Compatible issue I think.

As mentioned in the Specifications, EAP110 is using 24V Passive PoE for power, but TL-SG108PE supports Standard POE.

This is the point, they are not compatible, you may refer to this document to learn more.

 

If you haven't written wrong, the switch is TL-SG108E, then it doesn't support POE.

Vielen Dank für die schnelle Anwort.

 

Dann muss ich die EAP110 zurückschicken und andere AP kaufen.

 

Allerdings ist es von der Produktbeschreibung her sehr ungünstig gelöst, wenn dort beim TL-SG108PE steht, dass er mit allen Omada AP, wozu der EAP110 auch gehört, kompatibel ist und dann doch nicht.

 

Aber sie konnten mir ja helfen und so weiß ich damit umzugehen.
