Hi. I have had an EAP110 for some years and have just bought another one in order to extend the WIFI coverage in my house. Is it possible to use the same name and password for both units? It would be much easier for us and our visitors.

Yes, you can use the same SSID and password for the new AP. I suppose you are using them in standalone mode (i.e. you don't use an Omada controller).
