Not sure what happend last night, but here are the steps that fixed it for anyone in need:

- deleting the user account on all cameras (advanced networking->integration..)

- recreat the same account again

- delete all cameras on the NVR

- add the cameras again

so this is fixed now :shrug:

Hi @J-WH

Normal behavior. This was answered several days ago in another thread. If the power goes out, after the power recovers, it will show up as "not certified".

So far, we have located the problem originates from the third-party camera.

  @Clive_A

Yes I had seen that post but two things are different here:

1. Some of our cameras are on a battery backed-up network and that was not down

2. Only logging into the camera did not help, nor did reconfiguring the camera work. Both sides (NVR,Camera) needed to be reconfigured.

So I think it is a bit different in the end.

Regards,

Jan

Can you confirm there is zero power drop when it switches the power source?

I have to make sure of this before we move on further on this case.

  @J-WH

I can for the camera that is installed in the server room. That is connected to a data center grade battery backup. That one had the same problem the cameras outside it had.

And that it was only one of the models of camera we have. The other ones kept working.

For now there is not much to keep on doing, after readoptiong the cameras they are working again.

Just for your QA here is what I tried unsuccessfully before the complete reset:

- Rebooting the NVR

- Rebooting the cameras

- Changing the camera passwords on the camera and then in the NVR

Tests:

- Checking with "go2rtc" (RTC client) if the stream was available. Which it was the whole time, using the original login credentials.

So in the end it looked like an issue with NVR and not the cameras but I can't be sure.
