Hi there, i have two network switches. Network Diagram attached.

The issue is when I bridge the second switch from port 2 of top switch to port 1 of bottom switch it just takes down the internet across both the switches. The top switch works fine when there is no bridging cable between switches.

I am unable to adopt my bottom switch.

Please note: Currently the screens on the network diagram are on same ports but on top switch and the bridging port on top switch is Port2. Surely bridging ports does not need to have empty ports near them?

Any suggestions appreciated.
