Hi all, have connected multiple Tapo C225 cams to my VIGI NVR1016H successfully and they are streaming fine, except for times when they lose network connection randomly. Are footages still being recorded during those moments if internet instability?

Hi @Outpost

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Footages are stored on the VIGI NVR and it should be intact.

You may go to the NVR and check out the stored video when your Internet is lost/unstable.

Thank you @clive_A for the reply! So footages do continue to get recorded even when there's no internet? How does the video footages "transfer" to the NVR when the cams lost connections to the NVR? The cams have no SD card inserted

Losing the Internet does not mean they lose local connection.

So, the question is back to you. Does it lose Internet but still ping to the gateway IP or does it completely lose LAN IP and subsequently lose the Internet?

If you have micro SD card inside, it should be stored on the card and it should be accessible when you have access to it. That's what I have set up in the office for test.
