Model: EAP670
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Version 1.0.4 Build 20240314 Rel. 53356

Are there any release notes for firmware Version 1.0.4 Build 20240314 Rel. 53356?

My AP went into "Disconnected" state this morning. This is the first issue I've had with this AP since receiving it back in March. Upon power cycling it, I saw that there was a firmware update, so I applied it. I went to try and track down the release notes to see what this update fixed, but I can't seem to find anything about it.

Thanks!

  @sh809188

For the disconnect status, it means the connection between the EAP and the controller is broken.  Also, after the update, it will disconnect for a while and then return to normal, if it still cannot connect, you can try factory resetting or rebooting the unit.

About the release note, this information can be checked from our official website.

It is usually written under the firmware download link.

  @Hank21 thanks for the info. The reason I posted here was because this firmware version that I received does not appear on the TP-Link website that you linked.

The disconnect is probably unrelated, just an odd observation (the AP is stationary, about 3-4' from the network rack in my house, not a lot of cable or connectors to go wrong). Hoping it was just a fluke, although I did see a previous firmware fix for the earlier EAP670 resolved a random disconnect issue, hence why I was curious if the upgrade I got might have a fix for this issue.

thanks!

  @sh809188

Did you visit the US website and choose the relevant hardware version to view the firmware? It does appear on the US website for this firmware.The problem you mentioned is based on V1, not V2, and our related department has already resolved the issue.There should be no such problems, thus there is no need to worry. You can try to monitor your network; if there are any issues, please let us know or contact our support center.
