Issues Updating Apps via Google Play Store with EAP 613
Hi,
I have an EAP 613 setup through Omada Controller OC200 2.14.4 connected via Omada SG2008P 3.20.1 and ER707-M2.
Other than this issue, I have no other problems with my connectivity that I'm aware.
I cannot update any apps on Android devices via Google Play Store. Any apps pending update will show up as needing an update, but as soon as you try it will spin and fail. I've tried with a couple of Android devices I have handy (Samsung Note 20 5G and Samsung S21 5G).
With both devices, after switching to cellular (LTE/5G), the updates complete without issue.
As I've said before, outside of Play Store updates, no other connectivity seems to be affected.
I can't say with 100% certainty that this has worked in the past as it's not something I would've noted, but this issue has been going on for the past few weeks at least.

Have you ever tried connecting your phone to another wireless network to test if you can update the app? Furthermore, it is advisable to verify whether certain settings have been applied to the download center, such as prohibiting the update of the application upon connection to the wireless network. Also, you can try to connect your ISP to see if they limit something.

Yes, when connected to another wireless network, Google Play can update apps. There has been no restrictions prohibiting any updates connected to either WiFi or Cellular. My ISP is not limiting anything that I'm aware as I've tested this problem on other networks connected to my ISP, this seems specific to my Omada deployment.

How about making the EAP613 run in standalone mode? You can forget it from the controller. This is a way to eliminate the controller settings that cause this problem. Also, do you check the DNS on your phone when you are unable to update? Or do you confirm the DNS on the gateway? You could try 8.8.8.8. Additionally, I recommend clearing the cache and data of the Play Store app from the Settings app.

I have put the EAP613 in standalone mode (forgotten it from the controller). I have also confirmed the DNS settings on the device as delivered by DHCP as 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9, however, I manually set the phone to 8.8.8.8 as primary DNS and cleared the cache/data of the Play Store.
Still the Play Store merely spins and says "Pending..." until it fails.

Please follow this guide to try the troubleshooting.
Can you tell me about your network topology? Do you have any additional devices that can broadcast wireless networks to the same ER707-M2 or switch in your network? Can you successfully download the same app when connecting to them?Please also try swapping the EAP613's location with another device that can broadcast wireless networks and does not have any download issues.

I have attempted those troubleshooting steps with no resolution.
I have a single ER707-M2 with an uplink to my ISP.
The ER707-M2 has a link to my single SG2008P of which the EAP613 and OC200 are connected via the POE. I do not have any additional APs to test with.
Interestingly, I do have a WireGuard VPN configured with the ER707-M2 and when the VPN is enabled on the Android device (while on cellular, tunneled to , it is able to update apps via Google Play, so it doesn't seem to be the ISP causing any issues.

@Orikfricai If you have a USB C to ethernet adapter, try plugging that directly into your ISP modem and see if you have the same results. These adapters are cheap and very handy for this type of trouble shooting.

This is a good idea that I might check into. I should be able to pull the DHCP IP address from my ISP off their ONT.
I'm pretty convinced it's not my ISP or the ER707-M2 router at this point, though, as through a WireGuard VPN to the router I can receive Play Store updates.

@Orikfricai Now that you mention fiber, I believe I have had a similar situation. I had a EAP610 outdoor at the end of a Pharos bridge that wouldn't adopt properly. I eventually got it to adopt but it kept dropping. I contacted the fiber provider, they turned off CGNAT from their end, and the problem was completely resolved. You may want to contact them before going any further. I hope this helps.
