Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I am going to upgrade my network for security and VLAN creation

the hardware I currently have is as follows

TP-Link Archer AX55 / AX3000 4-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router

TP-Link-SG108PE Smart Switch

TP-Link AP WA 901ND Access Point

I intend to replace the AX55 with  an ER605 V2 Omada Gigabit VPN Router and an OC200 Omada Cloud Controller

I want to know if my smart switch and AP will work with the new configuration

It should be noted that the smart switch TL-SG108PE and the AP TL-WA901ND are incompatible with the Omada controller. They cannot be managed by the controller, thus you have to set up them independently. They can work together to meet your needs.This article describes how to configure VLAN for easy smart switches:How to configure 802.1Q VLAN on TP-Link Easy Smart

  @Hank21

so with the new router ,and controller , the controller can only config the router and and any omada AP i add to the network.

where im a little confused if i manually setr up vlans in the smart switch then i configure the router to talk to these using the controller is that correct?

Yes, even if you set up the switch independently, it will still work with the new router and the APs managed by the controller. And, if you configure vlans properly, they can communicate with one another.
