How to upgrade EAP245 version
Hey there
I've bought 2nd hand an EAP245 to set up with my omada system but my controller doesnt want to adopt it. Its likely the EAP245 v1 is too old. So I have 2 questions:
Where do I find my controller version on the OC200 web interface?
How do I upgrade my EAP245 version on MAC OS?
Thank you for your help

Hi @merime
Do you have other EAP units? If you downgrade the OC200 to the older version which is compatible with EAP245 V1, it may be incompatible with newer EAPs.
You can download the old version for OC200 V1 from this link: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/oc200/v1/#Firmware
And version 1.2.7 is the one you need.
To update EAP245 via Mac, you can first connect the Mac to the EAP245's wifi, and browser tplinkeap.net.
