Model: OC200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I have a whole house network with 4APs, 2 switches, OC200, and a router (ER7206).
What is important is that I have a switch connected to the router. And that switch powers all APs and OC200 is also connected to this switch.

I didn't change a management VLAN (don't want to repeat factory resetting all stuff due to my inability to set it up correctly).
Not sure if this is important, but I have DHCP reservations set for switches.
OC200 has static IP set.

I want to slowly switch to 2,5 Gbps and I got myself ER707-M2 router.

What is the best and most painless approach to switch out router?

  @Hooch

To begin with, please log into the web interface of the ER707-M2 and edit the LAN. Since the default LAN is 192.168.0.1, you should change it to match your current LAN. Following that, you can connect the ER707-M2 while replacing the ER-706. After that, you can use the web interface login credentials to adopt the ER707-M2 to the controller. Additionally, don't forget to configure the controller-managed switches and APs to static IP addresses.

How to add an Omada Gateway to the network?

  @Hooch

Since your OC200's IP address is not located on the same subnet as the router—192.168.0.1 is its default IP address—it is unable to locate the router directly.
